Strategy is the script. Storytelling is the direction. Most leaders have the data, but they lack the influence to make it stick.
Green Room, established in 2021 by lifelong storytelling nerd Gina Rattan, is a full-service narrative strategy company based in New York City. Our mission is to transform information into unforgettable messaging. Gina designs personalized, high-touch narrative audits.
I spent 15 years directing Broadway, film, and television—Tony-winning productions, A-list talent, and live performances where the story had to land the first time, every time. In that world, I learned that results aren't just about effort; they are about narrative. If the story doesn't work, the performance doesn't matter. A director doesn't just manage actors; they manage the story that the audience believes.
Now, I bring that same discipline to high-performing leaders. The stakes have shifted from the stage to the boardroom, but the challenge remains the same: how to cut through the noise and tell a story that moves people. Whether it’s a high-visibility keynote, a hard conversation with a board, or a team that has lost its way, the solution is always found in the narrative.
What I do isn’t theory. It’s pressure-tested strategy. I help leaders bridge the gap between having the data and having the influence. Most leaders have the "script," but they lack the "direction." I provide the tools to architect stories that hold when the spotlight is on and the margin for error disappears.
My own evolution was a shift from "performance at all costs" to performance with purpose. It’s the same inflection point I help my clients face: that moment when the old playbook stops working and you need a narrative that is sharper, clearer, and more human. At this level, leadership isn’t about trying harder—it’s about presence, precision, and the courage to own your story.
The higher the stakes, the louder the noise. The Green Room is where you step back to find the signal. It’s the space to sharpen your perspective, align your message, and ensure that when you step into the light, you aren’t just speaking—you’re leading.
Step back. Enter the Green Room. You’ll leave better for it.
